300 Character Limit... Are you kidding me?!?

I just tried to copy ONE verse and a paragraph ... 300 character limit "booted" me off... Could not even copy/ paste one paragraph to send to a friend!! Is this some kind of sick joke?!?
Please fix this feature. I love the devotional, BUT, regret buying it.... Loved the original version. Loathe the update(s)!!
